The wind turbine from Mariah Power was raised in the back yard.  The vertical axis turbine has three strings of blades which run parallel to the turbine shaft.  It stands 24’ tall and is supported by a concrete footing poured several weeks ago.  The wind turbine is projected to produce an average of 2000 kwh annually.
